Original listing · kept for referenceBagira is a leader in training and simulation systems, delivering mission-critical solutions used by hundreds of thousands of soldiers across 80+ sites worldwide.
We are looking for a Level Designer to design and build realistic military training scenarios within Unity-based simulation environments — transforming operational concepts into immersive, high-performance training experiences.
This is a full-time position, based at our headquarters in Modi'in.
What will you do?
• Design and build military training levels and scenarios within Unity simulation environments — shaping terrain, environments, props, and overall scene composition.
• Translate military concepts, procedures, and training objectives into interactive scenario logic and event flows.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on level content based on operational and customer feedback, while maintaining realism and consistency.
• Optimize environments and content for performance and simulation efficiency, and maintain clean scene structures and asset workflows.
Requirements:
• Strong, hands-on experience with the Unity Game Engine.
• Strong artistic and spatial design skills, with solid 3D world understanding — scene composition, layout, texturing, and asset preparation.
• Proven ability to create structured environments and scenarios from concept through implementation.
• Understanding of military environments and a strong sense of scenario realism.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN), and a portfolio demonstrating Unity projects and 3D content creation.
Preferred (Advantage):
• Experience with 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max (3D modelling is not part of the role, but the knowledge is a strong advantage).
• Basic C# scripting knowledge in Unity, and experience with terrain creation and environment building.
• Experience developing military simulations or training systems, and familiarity with military tactics, operational workflows, or training procedures.
