Role Description The Field Service Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Rehovot, with a combination of on-site work at customer locations and some work from home. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining BioView imaging and analysis systems, ensuring they operate reliably and meet customer expectations. Day-to-day activities include performing equipment setup and calibration, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and conducting preventive maintenance visits. The Field Service Engineer will provide technical support and training to laboratory staff, document service activities, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to report field feedback. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, managing service schedules, and supporting continuous improvement of service processes. Qualifications

    • Field Service and Preventive Maintenance skills to install, maintain, and optimize complex laboratory imaging and analysis systems.

    • Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and guide customers through system use and problem resolution.

    • Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term, trust-based relationships with laboratory teams.

    • Background in electronics, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field; relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.

    • Experience with laboratory equipment, optics, imaging systems, or medical devices, including familiarity with PC-based systems and networking.

    • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, service manuals, and schematics, and to document service activities accurately.

    • Strong organizational skills, self-directed work style, and ability to manage multiple service calls and priorities in a dynamic environment.

    • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and to work in clinical and research laboratory environments.
