In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-scale distributed backend systems and advanced LLM architectures. You will take end-to-end ownership—from writing high-concurrency microservices and orchestrating complex agentic workflows to managing production deployments on Kubernetes.
Core Responsibilities
• High-Performance Services: Architect, build, and optimize scalable backend microservices utilizing Python, FastAPI, and async messaging patterns.
• Agentic & AI Infrastructure: Design durable, multi-step LLM workflows, autonomous agent frameworks, and high-retrieval RAG pipelines.
• Resilient Workflows: Implement durable execution engines (such as Temporal) to ensure fault-tolerant, long-running processes across distributed services.
• Data Layer Management: Model, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, creating clean schema migrations (using ORMs like Drizzle) to support evolving product features.
• Cloud & Platform Operations: Own the deployment lifecycle, containerizing services, and scaling workloads on managed Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
• Technical Leadership: Lead architectural discussions, conduct thorough code reviews, and drive system reliability and incident resolution.
What You’ll Bring
• 4+ years of professional experience engineering complex software applications in production.
