This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including managing faculty IT operations, supporting servers and end users, overseeing websites, maintaining computing infrastructure, and leading a technical support team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage faculty-wide IT support and computing operations.
• Install, maintain, and support servers, workstations, software, and network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and consulting to faculty and staff.
• Manage and maintain faculty and departmental websites.
• Support procurement and implementation of computing equipment.
• Maintain computing infrastructure in teaching and research laboratories.
• Ensure backup and continuity of faculty computing systems.
• Work closely with the University's Information Systems and Computing Division.
• Lead and mentor the faculty's technical support team.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Engineering.
