Meet the Team

Join a cross-functional Cisco engineering team focused on building secure, user-centered software at scale. You’ll partner with design, product, and security groups to deliver reliable, privacy-preserving solutions that customers love.

Your Impact

You will lead design and delivery of medium-to-large features, influence architecture and security, mentor engineers, and drive improvements in engineering practices and observability.

• Lead technical design and implementation of complex features from concept through production.

• Drive secure-by-design decisions, participate in threat modeling, and improve secure coding practices.

• Mentor engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing (demos, design sessions, brown-bags).

• Define and track success metrics; own postmortems and reliability improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to balance delivery trade-offs and roadmap priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field

• 8+ years software engineering experience in systems programming (C, C++ or Java) with complex codebases

• Understanding of network security, secure code, threat modelling

• Hands-on experience with cryptography, TLS internals, or Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC)

• Hands on experience with AI coding

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of modern attack methods.

• Hands-on experience with security testing tools

• Hands on experience in cloud development – advantage
