Member of the legal department team, responsible for legal reports, research, and content coordination, supporting ongoing legal work and legal advice to a variety of company stakeholders.
1. Managing the weekly, bi-weekly, and other ongoing reports to RHQ and HQ of Samsung.
2. Manage the legal-related system and support legal operations efficiently by establishing related processes.
3. Supporting with drafting letters, agreements, and other legal documents.
4. Providing ongoing legal advice to the company divisions.
5. Supporting the overall compliance and privacy-related matters of the company.
Job Description
• Manage the weekly, bi-weekly, and other ongoing reports to RHQ and HQ of Samsung.
• Provide legal research and content management support to the Legal Counsel.
• Review, analyze, and summarize various legal articles and publications as well as regulatory, compliance, and judicial documents.
• Conduct legal checks and fact-finding tasks on various issues and cases on litigation (including, among others, small claims) as well as commercial, regulatory, and contractual issues.
• Coordinate and follow up top-down/bottom-up distribution and collection of legally-related information to ensure assimilation and implementation of required practices and rules.
• Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations and Excel sheet reports for trainings and other purposes associated with the legal counsel's tasks.
• Familiarize with the C internal systems for preparing various internal submissions and inputs associated with the legal counsel's operations.
• Draft legal advice to queries, reports, and updates on various legal issues.
• Drafting letters, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Assist and support with legal work, subject to the candidate's professional and knowledge.
Requisitions:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) or a related field (e.g., Legal Studies, Compliance).
• Bar admission is a must.
