PAXIS develops and manufactures advanced ceramic solutions for demanding applications, including Ballistic protection, Aerospace, and Industrial Applications. We work with customers and partners worldwide, developing customized ceramic materials, components, and solutions from initial development through serial production.
This is a full-time, on-site position at the Tefen Industrial Area, Northern Israel. The Role As part of PAXIS's Engineering & R&D team, you will be involved in the development, engineering, and industrialization of advanced ceramic materials and products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development projects involving materials, processes, and products.
• Provide product engineering and technical support to production.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects from development through transition to production.
• Support material evaluation, characterization, testing, and process optimization.
• Analyze technical results and recommend product or process improvements.
• Work closely with R&D, Production, Quality, and other departments.
• Translate customer requirements into practical engineering and material solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, industrial partners and academic institutions in Israel and internationally.
• Support continuous improvement and resolution of manufacturing challenges. Requirements • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of industrial experience, an advantage.
• Background or academic experience in ceramic and composite materials, a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and drive projects independently.
• Strong system-level engineering perspective.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to work across different departments.
• High-level English, required.
• Knowledge of engineering design or CAD software, an advantage.

• Availability for a full-time on-site position and additional hours when required.
