Original listing · kept for referenceWe are looking for a proactive, self-motivated Project Engineer to join our cross-platform team. In this role, you will lead and execute a variety of sustain engineering projects and activities, including cost reduction initiatives, creation of new product configurations, and updates to existing configurations driven by regulatory requirements or process improvement needs. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, primarily from RA, Engineering, R&D, and QA. · Manage and execute cross platform projects from initiation to implementation phase while working with internal and external resources. · Create and maintain new product configurations in Lumenis PLM system and verify proper transfer to production and implementation. · Perform changes to existing products, update work instructions, test procedures, labeling etc. · Lead process validation activities in Lumenis production lines (sub-contractors) · Manage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, end to end. · Participate in miscellaneous engineering department activities as needed.
Requirements: · Mechanical Engineering degree · 2-4 years of experience · Experience with Microsoft Office products, · Experience with PLM and CAD systems · Ability to lead without authority. · Proactive · Self-motivated and able to work independently, “Can do” approach · Good communication skills, “people’s person”, organized, multi-tasking · Fluent in written and verbal English - a Must · experience in the medical device industry – advantage · Design verification experience - advantage
