In this role, you will work in the field of airborne payloads within the Mission Systems Directorate, specializing in UAV engineering that integrates advanced software, hardware, and communication components.
You will be responsible for acquiring knowledge and tools to support, test, and implement hands-on systems both in Israel and abroad.
Team members are required to have quick learning abilities, leadership skills, initiative, the ability to analyze complex topics, and a system-wide perspective.
Your responsibilities will include performing system integrations and providing customer support in Israel and abroad.
Responsibilities:
• Participation in and support of airborne and ground experiments to validate and mature the system.
• System implementation and customer training.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Investigating malfunctions, documenting knowledge, and writing procedures in English.
• Providing support to development teams.
Profile description:
Requirements:
• Experience working in the field with communication systems and electronic units.Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Electrical/Communications Engineering Technician diploma.
• Practical knowledge and experience in IT and computer networks, including Wireshark.
• Experience working with electronic testing tools.High-level proficiency in English.
• Knowledge and experience in computers (BIOS, memory, operating systems – Windows, Linux).
• Experience in harness and cabling design.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering – an advantage.
• Previous experience in a technical role in UAV squadrons of the Air Force is an advantage.
