Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Beer Sheva is currently seeking applicants for a Vishay Beer Sheva is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Cost Accountant.
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for supporting cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial reporting, and month-end closing activities. The position includes preparation and analysis of cost reports, review of inventory-related accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. The role requires close collaboration with production, finance, procurement, planning, and other manufacturing sites, as well as support for internal and external audit processes.

What You Will Be Doing
• Perform inventory valuation activities, maintain valuation system data, and coordinate physical inventory counts.
• Support month-end closing activities, including review of inventory-related accounts, journal entries preperations, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support ongoing CAPX accounting
• Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing relevant documentation, reports, and analyses.
• Participate in the annual budget preparation process and monitor budget versus actual performance.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
What You Will Bring Along
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a related field, or Bookkeeping certification, Level 3 or above.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment - Advantage.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting processes, and financial reporting.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• SAP working experience – advantage.
• Strong analytical, Detail-oriented approach, problem - solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
