    Description

    We are

At Cross River, we're building the financial infrastructure that powers global innovation. With our cutting-edge suite of embedded payments, cards, and lending solutions, we enable millions of businesses and consumers to transact seamlessly and securely.

With 900+ employees worldwide and an R&D center of over 160 employees in Jerusalem - we’re reshaping how financial technology is developed and delivered. .

    THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced interdisciplinary product designer to join our Product Design team and assist with design efforts across our services: banking, card issuing, payments, merchant acquiring, loan origination, and more. This includes visual design and UI/UX for web-based banking and native apps (Android, iOS). In this role, you'll collaborate closely with designers, cross-functional partners, and engineers to craft product experiences of today and tomorrow. You'll work on the end-to-end design of new features and improvements across a range of products and help chart our course into the future as we evolve our technology, product, and design paradigms.

Design plays a critical role here. You'll help build, iterate, and refine a high-quality user experience that pushes the boundaries of what's possible. There's an opportunity to contribute to a variety of ways and shape the role to suit your unique mix of skills.

    Who You Are

    • You're constantly curious about the big picture and seek to understand business opportunities and challenges.

    • A passion for turning complexity into usable, beautiful experiences.

    • You enjoy tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into a clear vision.

    • You ship fast and stay in motion. You'd rather get something in front of users this week than spend a month perfecting it. You prototype in code, stay scrappy when speed matters, and know when to polish versus when to learn.

    • You pay attention to pixel-level detail and meticulous execution at the very lowest level.

    • You're forward-thinking and scale design. You create and maintain reusable elements, design systems, and component libraries when it makes sense to do so.

    • You're rethinking the basics.

    • You're AI-native in how you work. You're already using Claude Code or similar tools to extend what you can build. You see AI as a creative partner in your own practice.

    • You stay close to the models. You pay attention to where capabilities are heading.

    • You elevate craft while moving fast. You care about the details - the pixels, the copy, the edge cases - and find ways to maintain that care while shipping quickly.

    What You’ll Actually Be Doing

    • Design and ship high-quality products and improvements, from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and visuals

    • Partner closely with engineering, product management, AI research, and design peers to define both long-term strategy and short-term tactics

    • Conduct user research to understand our users better and inform product decisions.

    • Synthesize user and business insights to solve complex product challenges and improve design outcomes.

    • A passion for turning complexity into usable, beautiful experiences.

    • Integrate and use our design system to deliver product consistency and alignment

    • Rapidly explore and prototype interactive concepts around emerging UX patterns and AI-ready design languages

    • Deliver accessible, high-quality visual and interaction design from concept to completion that builds trust and showcases the power of our technology

    Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

    • Native-level fluency in both English and Hebrew (written and verbal) - Must

    • You have a portfolio demonstrating 5+ years of experience designing and successfully launching beautiful and intuitive real-world digital products.

    • Experience leading and conducting user testing and user research.

    WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE

    • Flexible hybrid work model: three days a week at our Jerusalem office

    • Monthly wellness reimbursement – from therapy to gel manicure, it's up to you

    • Full Keren Hishtalmut, private health and dental insurance
