VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.

Join a strong and expert business data unit, working in a high-performing team of 4 Data Scientists responsible for building predictive models in the domains of credit, pricing, GENAI solutions. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that drives real business impact through advanced and cutting-edge modelling.

We are looking for a sharp, curious, and impact-driven Data Scientist to join a strategic engagement with one of Visa’s top clients in Israel.

This is a role for someone who thrives on building, shipping, and delivering real business value — not just building models. You will take ownership of turning ambiguous business problems into production-ready solutions, working fast, thinking creatively, and continuously pushing for impact.

What We Expect You To Do, Day To Day

• Take full ownership of delivering end-to-end data solutions into production — from problem framing and data validation, through modeling, to measurable business impact.

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade models, pipelines, and tools using Python and SQL.

• Translate complex and ambiguous business challenges into simple, effective models— quickly.

• Partner closely with business stakeholders to shape solutions, and ensure real adoption and impact.

• Engage in AI Engineering tasks

• Continuously improve solutions in production — monitor performance, iterate fast, and optimize for impact.

• Explore and apply new technologies (including Generative AI) through a pragmatic, impact-driven lens.

• Simplify complexity — break down hard problems into scalable and easy-to-implement solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What we’re after:

• Proven experience in developing and deploying predictive models end-to-end, including solutions actively used in production.

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including working with large and complex datasets and writing clean, efficient, production-level code.

• Hands-on experience working with large-scale data.

• Practical experience applying machine learning and statistical techniques (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, segmentation, or recommendation systems).

• Strong business understanding and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven models.

• High execution capability — ability to work quickly, iterate fast, and deliver effective solutions in dynamic environments.

• Methodical and detail-oriented approach, combined with pragmatism, flexibility, and a strong focus on results.

• Curiosity and fast learning ability, with a proactive approach to exploring new domains, tools, and technologies.

• Advantage: Experience working with language models (LLMs) and applying them.

• Advantage: Experience working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
