Original listing · kept for referenceEngineers build systems. You help them build the right ones.
At Systematics, we work with companies developing complex products - from embedded systems to control algorithms and data-driven models. As a Sales Engineer focused on MATLAB & Simulink, you’ll sit at the intersection of engineering and business, helping customers turn ideas into working solutions.
This is not a support role. You are part of the deal.
What you’ll do
• Own technical conversations with engineers and R&D teams working on modeling, simulation, and algorithm development
• Lead the technical side of the sales cycle - from discovery to solution design to closing
• Run sharp, relevant demos that show how MATLAB & Simulink solve real engineering problems (not generic features)
• Translate customer challenges into working workflows: modeling, simulation, code generation, system design
• Partner closely with account managers to win new business and grow existing accounts
• Stay close to the field - understand how products are actually developed in industries like automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and more
What makes you a fit
• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Aerospace / Industrial or similar)
• 1-2 years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or customer-facing technical roles
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB / Simulink (academic or professional)
• Ability to explain complex systems clearly and confidently
• Curiosity about how things work -and how they can work better
Why is this role different
• You sell tools engineers actually use - and rely on
• Every conversation is technical, meaningful, and grounded in real systems
• You’ll develop both deep technical expertise and strong business skills
• Clear path into advanced pre-sales, account management, or domain specialization
