Embedded Firmware Engineer

In this role, you will design and develop firmware for advanced wireless MESH communication systems, with a growing focus on integrating capabilities developed using LLMs into our products.

This is a hands-on position that combines low-level firmware development, embedded software, networking, and AI-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize firmware for advanced wireless MESH communication systems (real-time, close to the hardware)

• Develop and maintain high-performance embedded software in C/C++ across both Linux kernel space and user space on Ubuntu-based platforms

• Integrate firmware and software within end-to-end systems (HW + SW)

• Take part in AI/LLM-driven feature development and integration (optimization, automation, data analysis)

• Collaborate across teams to deliver robust, real-world deployed solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Firmware / Embedded Software development

• Strong proficiency in C/C++

• Hands-on experience developing firmware close to the hardware (board-level, real-time, and/or bare-metal/RTOS)

• Experience with Linux across both kernel space and user space (Ubuntu)

• Background in algorithm development

• Experience with AI LLMs, including Claude Code

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer / Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Strong system-level understanding and problem-solving skills

• Prior knowledge and/or implementation of Wi-Fi MAC/System

Advantages

• Prior knowledge and/or implementation of wireless MAC (5G/LTE/WiMAX/UWB/ZigBee)

• Experience writing device drivers and working with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, DMA)
