As an Electronics Engineer on our R&D Hardware team, you'll own the electrical backbone of the AI-powered inspection systems being deployed at Toyota, Amazon, GM, and Hertz sites worldwide - real hardware, in real vehicles, at real scale.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

• Design, develop, and take end-to-end ownership of all electrical modules across UVeye's product line

• Integrate new components and sensors - power supply, communication protocols (I2C, Ethernet, UART), and supporting modules into live systems

• Perform PCB development for new designs and continuous improvement of existing boards.

• Lead troubleshoots of faulty electrical components.

• Cooperate with the system engineer, mechanics, and SW teams to develop next-gen features and products.

• Lead troubleshooting on faulty electrical components, from root-cause to resolution

• Design experiments and jigs to validate your work before it ships

• Manage the full lifecycle of your modules, including coordination with subcontractors

Requirements:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in a multidisciplinary company

• Strong hands-on experience in electronic circuit board design and development

• Proven track record integrating components and sensors — power supply, communication protocols (I2C, Ethernet, UART), and supporting modules

• End-to-end module ownership experience, including managing subcontractors

• Experience with programmable logic array modules

• Proficiency with EE design software (Altium experience a strong plus)

• Experience designing experiments and test jigs
