Why DriveNets

DriveNets powers the networks that move the world - over half of AT&T's backbone runs on our platform, and Comcast has deployed us nationwide. We just closed a $410M Series D ($1B raised total, cash-flow positive since 2025), backed by Bessemer, AMD, and Broadcom. We're not just scaling SP routing- we're wiring the next era of AI infrastructure, solving the most expensive idle-asset problem in tech: a GPU waiting on the network.

The Role

You'll join our System Architecture group and own end-to-end design of a hyper-scale router Software - DNOS. From customer requirements through deployment. Expect deep cross-functional collaboration, hands-on spec leadership, and direct customer engagement at the architecture level including leveraging AI tools to produce high-quality specifications.

You Will

• Define system requirements and lead architectural design across routing and data path

• Drive spec reviews and guide engineers through design decisions

• Establish design standards that improve resilience, security, and efficiency at scale

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Networking/routing (L2/L3), data path (e.g. QoS, ACL), and data modeling knowledge are all a plus

• Familiarity with both AI data center and service provider network architectures is a strong advantage - our platform serves both worlds
