A defense company in northern Israel is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join its testing team.
The role combines approximately 50% manual testing and 50% automation testing, including test planning, writing test documentation, developing automation tests, executing tests, and supporting the product throughout its lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
Writing and executing manual and automated tests
Developing automation tests using a variety of technologies, including C, Playwright, Ranorex, Selenium with C#, and Python
Writing and maintaining test documentation, including STP, STD, STR, and TRR
Creating test plans and supporting product testing throughout all development stages
Performing system-level testing and analyzing test results
Working closely with development, system engineering, and other cross-functional teams
Requirements:
Software Practical Engineer or higher academic/technological degree – mandatory
At least 1 year of experience in software testing – mandatory
At least 1 year of experience in automation testing – mandatory
Experience in both manual and automated testing – mandatory
Ability to write code in at least one programming language – mandatory
Familiarity with test documentation such as STP, STD, STR, and TRR
System-level understanding and ability to see the full product picture
