Job Description
Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Optomechanics team. Engineering development of new products from the initial concept stage to serial production within the optomechanics field. Designing military systems capable of withstanding extreme environmental conditions (temperature, shock, immersion, etc.). Designing plastic injection parts using complex materials. Card packaging and design, including familiarity with electronic components at the board level. Design of flexible harnesses. Collaboration with industrial designers and optical engineers.
Requirements
Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in mechanical development. Optomechanics Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in optomechanics – specifically packaging optical elements at the single-lens level. Manufacturing Knowledge: Proficiency in manufacturing technologies including CNC machining, die casting, investment casting (lost wax), and more. Software: Full proficiency in SolidWorks. Soft Skills: Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional team.
Reporting Structure
Reporting to: VP of R&D.
Position Details
Scope: Full-time. Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 + overtime as required.
