Role Overview
Join a large-scale defense organization as a Database Specialist, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes. The role includes building scalable data solutions, improving database performance, and supporting BI and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop SQL Server databases from requirements through implementation
• Build and maintain DWH solutions and ETL/Data Pipeline processes
• Optimize database performance and develop complex T-SQL logic
• Work with BI teams to deliver enterprise reporting and analytics solutions
• Support SQL Server, SAP HANA, and NoSQL database environments
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing SQL Server 2016/2019 databases
• Experience working with SAP HANA databases
• Strong T-SQL skills, including complex queries, functions, triggers, and performance tuning
• Experience with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch
• Experience designing Data Warehouses using Star Schema
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or SSIS and Data Pipelines
• Experience with BI tools such as SAP BusinessObjects or Power BI
