Original listing · kept for referenceA technology-oriented company is seeking an experienced CNC Workshop Supervisor to manage and operate a small in-house machining workshop, including CNC milling and turning. This is a hands-on role with full responsibility for manufacturing processes.
• Full responsibility for the daily operation and management of a small CNC machining workshop (2 CNC Machines, 2 Conventional Machine)
• CNC programming and operation for milling and turning machines
• Operation of 5-axis CNC milling machine
• End-to-end responsibility for the manufacturing process: from technological planning, machining, and setup to final part completion
• Providing manufacturing and technological solutions for engineering projects
• Procurement of raw materials, cutting tools, and required production equipment
• Performing quality assurance inspections and part measurements for machined parts
• Ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality requirements
• Reading and working according to mechanical drawings and specifications
Requirements:
• Proven experience operating 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Experience with Siemens CNC controllers
• Formal training in CNC machining and programming (e.g., SolidCAM)
• Strong knowledge of machining technologies and manufacturing processes
• Hands-on experience with conventional machining (turning, milling, drilling)
• Experience in quality control and dimensional inspection (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (English)
Additional Qualifications:
• Proficiency in computer applications and systems such as ERP (MFG), Excel, Word, and ePDM
• Additional certification in CNC operation, tooling, or manufacturing technology – an advantage
• High level of independence, responsibility, and ability to manage tasks end-to-end
