Original listing · kept for referenceThe role focuses on detailed mechanical design of precision parts (machined components), including the transducer and required jigs and fixtures. The engineer will work closely with the electrical team to integrate electronics into the transducer.
The position also includes end-to-end project management of new product development, including direct communication with global customers and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Process Engineering, Planning, QA, and Operations. Responsibilities include scheduling, costing, and occasional travel for on-site visits.
• Transducer design, jigs and fixtures design
• Coordination of Transducer Design projects
• Sales support
• Production and Process Engineering support
• Responsible for leading project from design to mass production start. (product spec, Gantt chart, configuration control thru PDM).
• Transfer to process engineering (Documentation, training and ongoing support thru the launch)
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical design of metal systems/assemblies integrating electrical components; experience in global project management – advantage
• Hands-on experience in mechanical design and fabrication of metal parts, including stress analysis, metal processing, and 3D printing technologies
• Proficiency with CAD tools and FEA analysis
• Experience with PDM systems (SolidWorks Enterprise PDM – advantage)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in Hebrew and English; additional language – advantage)
• Willingness for occasional international travel
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance definition – advantage
