We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and oversee electrical engineering projects across the University campus.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from planning through execution.
• Drive energy efficiency initiatives and support the University's power consumption optimization.
• Oversee projects involving the campus high-voltage electrical network.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical contractors.
• Manage emergency power systems, including generators and UPS systems.
• Support the maintenance and development of critical electrical infrastructure.
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working with generator synchronization systems and central UPS systems.
• At least 2 years of experience managing electrical engineering projects in a large, complex organization (public sector experience is an advantage).
• High-voltage electrician certification – an advantage.
• Experience managing contractors.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
Position Details
• Full-time position (100%)
• On-call availability and occasional overtime required, as needed.
