We are recruiting a Component Engineer for a defense industry company located in central Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage electronic components throughout their lifecycle

• Identify replacement components in cases of shortages or End-of-Life (EOL) status

• Analyze datasheets and evaluate electrical, mechanical, and thermal compatibility

• Work closely with development and engineering teams to approve electronic components

• Lead ECO and AVL processes, work with suppliers and manufacturers, maintain BOMs, update PLM/ERP systems, and support production issue resolution

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in the electronics field

• Experience working with Datasheets, BOM, AVL, and ECO

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and thermal component analysis and comparison

• Experience with component search tools such as Octopart, SiliconExpert, or IHS – advantage

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
