Linux Systems Expert

We are looking for a Linux Systems Expert to join the ITC (Information Technology Center) within a leading technology organization.

The position includes:

• Installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of Linux servers (RHEL, SLES) in both virtualized and cloud environments

• Performance analysis, system-level troubleshooting, and deep debugging of operating system and application-related issues

• Design and implementation of virtualized infrastructures using VMware/ESXi, including vCenter management and lifecycle maintenance

• Deployment and management of cloud resources in AWS and Azure, including virtual machines, networking, and storage services

• Development and maintenance of automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) processes using Terraform and Ansible (including modules, playbooks, and scripts)

• Collaboration with development, cybersecurity, and support teams to implement business and technical requirements

• Supporting physical server infrastructure installation and maintenance (HP, Lenovo, Dell)

• Monitoring system performance and availability using enterprise tools and troubleshooting production issues in complex environments

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Linux Administrator in a large-scale organization (500+ employees) – Mandatory

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience with RHEL and/or SLES operating systems – Mandatory

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef – Mandatory

• At least 2 years of experience with VMware/ESXi environments, including vCenter administration – Mandatory

• Proven experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure – Mandatory

• Experience in physical server installation and maintenance (HP, Lenovo, Dell) – Mandatory

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex OS-level performance issues – Mandatory

• RHCE / RHCA certification – Significant Advantage

• SUSE Certified Engineer certification – Advantage

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Nagios – Advantage

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Administrator certification – Advantage
