Head of Weapons Systems Development

Head of Tactical Loitering Munitions | Missile & Space Systems Division

We are looking for a Head of Tactical Loitering Munitions to join the Loitering Munitions Directorate within IAI’s Missile Systems Division.

The position includes:

• Leading the Tactical Loitering Munitions domain within the Loitering Munitions Directorate, with full responsibility for both the business and development activities

• Managing the complete product lifecycle, from concept definition, development and testing through customer engagement, Full-Scale Development (FSD), and final delivery

• Owning the business performance of the domain, including deliveries, profitability, and overall P&L responsibility

• Managing direct relationships with international customers and supporting strategic business growth

• Leading the financial management of the domain and all related projects, with overall responsibility for a portfolio of approximately $300M

• Reporting directly to the Head of the Loitering Munitions Directorate

• Working in a hands-on leadership role that combines office-based management with operational field activities

• Frequent international travel as part of the role

Requirements:

• Israeli citizenship

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Systems Engineering

• At least 10 years of experience managing defense system development programs with a scope of $50M or more

• At least 5 years of direct people management experience

• High level of English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)

Additional criteria (advantage):

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA)

• Experience managing subcontractors within Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)
