      Manufacturing Engineer

      As VGS continues to grow, we're looking for a talented, “golden hands” Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering & Manufacturing team.

      The Manufacturing Engineer will provide engineering and technical support to the Engineering and Operations department, improving production process scalability, quality, and efficiency.

      Reports to the VP of Engineering and Operations.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Lead all aspects of VIOLA Manufacturing Engineering activities, including production process scalability, process validation execution, and equipment maintenance and calibration

      • Execute manufacturing engineering objectives in compliance with company vision and standards

      • Participate in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency

      • Participate in product PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) processes

      • Interface with company departments and sub-contractors to initiate and implement solutions to production issues

      • Collaborate with operations and management teams to continuously improve production processes and reduce costs

      • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and technologies to meet production requirements, ensuring the cost-effective integration of new products or improvements to existing ones

      • Generate production documentation and assembly instructions

      Qualifications, Education & Work Experience

      • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline

      • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering and/or manufacturing technology experience

      • Experience in a medical device company, working under a quality management system (ISO 13485)

      • Experience in production scale-up

      • Experience in process validation and risk analysis activities

      • Experience leading cross-functional development projects

      • Experience in SolidWorks modeling

      • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Hebrew and English

      • High proficiency in technical problem solving, including trend and root cause analysis

      Advantages

      • Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical, mechanical or industrial engineering

      • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing engineering methods to achieve continuous improvement

      • Experience in clean room or controlled environment manufacturing
