Original listing · kept for referenceabra is seeking a GIS Operator! We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-oriented GIS Operator to join a long-term project at Ben Gurion Airport. The role focuses on property and leasing data management, operation of geographic information systems, data quality, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders and software vendors. Job Description • Updating property and financial systems with asset and leasing data. • Entering data into information systems according to management guidelines. • Maintaining, archiving, and retrieving documentation, instructions, and system updates. • Generating reports from computerized systems. • Cross-referencing data between systems, identifying discrepancies, and correcting inaccurate information. • Performing data cleansing and improving data quality across computerized systems. • Handling inquiries and coordinating with relevant department personnel and Israel Airports Authority stakeholders. • Suggesting process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the scope of responsibility. • Troubleshooting system issues and coordinating solutions with management and software vendors. • Conducting asset and property surveys at Israel Airports Authority sites.
Requirements: Mandatory Criteria Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience tracks: • Academic degree, Practical Engineer diploma, or Certified Technician diploma, with an emphasis on Information Systems, Technology, or Geography, together with at least two years of relevant experience. OR • Completion of relevant professional courses totaling at least 300 academic hours, together with at least three years of relevant experience. OR • At least four years of experience as a GIS implementation or support specialist. In addition, candidates must have: • At least two years of experience operating information systems, including at least one year of experience working with geographic information systems. • Knowledge and experience in generating reports and analyzing data from computerized systems. • Knowledge and experience in data cleansing and data quality improvement. • Experience troubleshooting system issues and working with internal managers and external software vendors.
