General Electric needs an experienced instrumentation and control technician for a hydroelectric power station, located near Kibbutz Neve Or in the north of the Beit She'an Valley.
The role includes ongoing support for maintenance activities in the field of instrumentation, control and computers, in accordance with contract requirements, GE procedures, safety regulations and state regulations.
Job Description
As part of the job:
• Responsibility for the integrity of the equipment, control and computers in the station.
• Ongoing support for station operations, supervision of operational integrity and optimal efficiency of station systems, reliability testing, planning and execution of preventive care and ongoing maintenance of instrumentation, control and computer equipment.
• Execution of planned holdings of equipment in accordance with the maintenance plan and in coordination with the operating and safety factors.
• Detection, analysis and troubleshooting of systems.
• Writing work procedures and implementing them.
• Work in a computerized maintenance system (maintenance management software - CMMS).
Requirements
• instrumentation and control Practical Engineer, Electrical practical engineer, Computers (PC Technician / Networks Manager)
• Holder of an electrician's license - an advantage.
• Experience in control systems / instrumentation / computers.
• At least two years' experience working in a similar position, an advantage for working in an international company.
• High level written and oral English and Hebrew.
• Willingness to combine fieldwork with office work.
• knowledge of office software in general and Excel in particular.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
• Full-time, readiness for readiness and bouncing if necessary, including nights and weekends.
