At our Haifa site, we are looking for a Design Quality Engineer – Avionics Development

As a Quality Engineer, you will be a true partner to our R&D teams, with direct impact on the product from concept through production and customer delivery
In this role you will
Embed within the R&D teams' professional routines and accompany the product development lifecycle across all its stages
Define and formalize development procedures and processes, build and maintain checklists
Evaluate and promote advanced technologies such as automation tools and AI to improve design quality
Lead failure investigations, analyze failure data and trends, and drive data-based improvements
Lead methodologies for early identification of engineering risks and critical characteristics
Drive Design for Quality initiatives and recommend engineering changes to improve reliability and manufacturability
Support NPI and transfer-to-production processes, manage feedback loops from manufacturing lines, operations and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, regulatory and standards requirements
Create and lead the integration between development, testing and production, proactively ensuring product stability and reliability throughout its lifecycle
Participate in reviews, CCB committees and configuration control routines
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Optical Engineering
Experience in system and product development with familiarity in maturation processes
Experience in building processes, leading investigations and driving continuous improvement activities
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, NPI and serial production
High level of English
Systemic and analytical thinking with strong data analysis skills and the ability to present clear insights
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead and influence without formal authority, and work effectively across multiple interfaces
