Job Description:
We are looking for a Computer Vision Research Team Leader to join our Vision research group. In this you will lead and mentor a team of 3-4 researchers while also conducting and leading research projects of your own. You will be responsible for the full applied-research cycle, from ideation and experimentation to technology transfer.
We foster a unique research environment that encourages innovation, scientific depth, and technical excellence. You will stay closely connected to the latest papers and top AI conferences, and develop state-of-the-art solutions.
We encourage publishing at leading AI venues (see our publication list: https://www.originai.co/publications/). In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer workflows, publish your research at top-tier conferences, and work closely with interns and graduate students in our lab through collaborations with academic faculty.
Our multidisciplinary AI center also offers close collaboration with experts in Audio, Speech, and NLP, enabling research at the forefront of multimodal AI.
Requirements:
• Ph.D in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or related fields.
• 3+ years of leading research teams
• Proven hands-on experience in AI research, including Deep understanding of ML fundamentals and SoTA Deep Learning approaches.
• Publications at top-tier computer vision conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR.
• Broad understading of the domain and SoTA publications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
