Role Description This is an internship role for a Security Professional in a hybrid work model, based in Haifa with the option for some work from home. The intern will support day-to-day security operations, including monitoring systems, reviewing logs, and assisting in the identification and mitigation of security risks. Responsibilities include helping with cybersecurity and network security assessments, contributing to information security documentation, and participating in physical security checks and procedures. The role involves collaborating with team members to improve security practices for AI, cloud, and crypto-related products, and assisting in implementing security policies and incident response processes. The internship offers hands-on experience in a startup environment, working closely with engineers and product teams on security-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including basic knowledge of security principles, risk assessment, and security best practices.

• Candidates should possess skills in Network Security, such as familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring, and secure configuration of networked systems.

• Candidates should possess skills in Physical Security, including awareness of access control, asset protection, and facility security considerations.

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, document findings, and report security issues clearly.

• Relevant coursework or training in computer science, information systems, or security-related fields; certifications in security fundamentals are an advantage.

• Ability to learn quickly, follow structured procedures, and work responsibly in a hybrid setup in Haifa with partial remote work.

• Interest in AI, cloud infrastructure, and crypto or financial technologies, with a willingness to adapt to evolving security challenges.
