IBI Investment House is seeking an experienced VP of Investments to lead the investment activity of its Alternative Funds division.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assume full responsibility for managing private credit funds and making investment decisions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of potential investment opportunities and lead complex transactions from evaluation through execution.
• Provide both professional and people management for a team of investment analysts.
• Lead business development initiatives and maintain ongoing relationships with internal stakeholders and international business partners, including foreign banks, financial institutions, and business partners across the US and Europe.
• Full-time position requiring flexibility for additional working hours and collaboration across international time zones, as needed.
• Report directly to the CEO.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field – required. (An investment management or portfolio management license is not required.)
• Significant hands-on experience in private markets / alternative investments within a leading financial institution – required.
• Proven managerial experience – required.
• Demonstrated experience executing debt transactions / private credit transactions – required.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills – required.
