About The Role

Zenith Construction is looking for a practical, hands-on Site Superintendent to aid in our field operations across New Jersey. We specialize in sports fields, public parks, and heavy-duty concrete projects, and need someone who understands that the difference between a good job and a great one begins with what happens in the field.

Location

On-site, Northern NJ

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience is required.

• Ability to understand project drawings and specifications, and execute upon them.

• Experience in sports field construction, concrete, and utilities is highly preferred.

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification is required

• Valid NJ Driver’s License with a clean record is mandatory.

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure adherence to the project specifications and drawings.

• Monitor and assure quality of work, specifically regarding grading, synthetic/natural turf installation, drainage systems, and structural/decorative concrete work.

• Manage the staging, delivery, and inventory of materials (aggregates, turf, concrete, site furnishings) to ensure continuous productivity.

• Communicate any potential issues you see in the field with the project manager ahead of time, request required information, inspections, materials from them when needed.

• Attend on-site meetings if required for a project.

• Notify the project manager of potential change order work and RFI's

• You will be required to drive to various job sites across north and central NJ

Salary

Salary Range of $90,000 - $120,000 based on prior experience and education.
