Original listing · kept for reference

Island is the ideal environment for enterprise work, where security is everywhere without ever getting in the way. We are looking for a Salesforce Automation Engineer who combines great technical execution with a sharp, business-oriented mindset. This is not just a basic support role. We need someone who understands how business processes run, spots where things can be improved, and has the technical skills to build smart, scalable solutions. Your main focus will be designing workflows using Salesforce Flows, but you also need the coding skills (Apex) to handle things when standard automation tools aren't enough. A big part of this role will be finding ways to bring AI into our everyday workflows—both natively inside Salesforce and across our external processes. Responsibilities: • Advanced Automation: Design, build, and maintain complex Salesforce Flows and automation setups to keep our business processes running smoothly. • AI Process Evolution: Find opportunities to implement and evolve AI within our workflows—whether natively through tools like Agentforce/Einstein AI, or outside Salesforce. • Technical Coding: Write and maintain clean Apex code (like triggers and custom actions) when native tools hit their limits. • Business Partnership: Work closely with different teams to gather business requirements, map out logic, and turn them into working technical systems. • System Maintenance: Handle the day-to-day management, troubleshooting, and technical support of Salesforce to ensure everything stays stable, clean, and reliable.

Requirements: Requirements: • Strong Experience with Flows: Deep, practical experience building and managing advanced Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen Flows, etc.). • Coding Capabilities: Hands-on experience with Apex and Salesforce architecture, with the ability to write custom backend logic when necessary. • Business & Process Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to look at a business process, understand how it impacts the company, and design the right setup for it. • AI Practicality: A forward-thinking mindset regarding how to use AI tools to automate and improve business processes. • Day-to-Day Ownership: Comfortable handling daily system maintenance, fixing bugs, and keeping the platform organized. • Startup DNA: High motivation and the capability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: • Hands-on experience with Salesforce AI products (Agentforce, Einstein AI, Service Cloud). • Experience connecting Salesforce to Slack or using third-party automation tools (like Make, Zapier, Workato). • Experience building Salesforce-based customer or partner portals. At Island, we value our team members and strive to create a supportive and growth-oriented environment. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys technical challenges, has a passion for customer service, and possesses a strong background in Cyber Security and coding, we would love to hear from you.
