A leading high-tech company developing cutting-edge multidisciplinary systems is looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join its Quality team.
This is a key role, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and strategic suppliers to ensure the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead supplier quality activities and conduct supplier audits at subcontractor manufacturing sites.
• Monitor and improve supplier manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
• Support NPI, production, integration and testing activities.
• Lead investigations of quality issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and approve quality documentation including PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans and related manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations teams to improve product quality, reliability and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor quality KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
• B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another relevant Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Quality Engineer within the electronics industry.
• Proven experience conducting supplier audits and managing subcontractor quality.
• Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, including SMT, THT, PCB Assemblies, Integration and Testing.
• Hands-on experience with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Experience with quality methodologies including CAPA, 8D, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and Root Cause Analysis.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
• Willingness to travel to subcontractor manufacturing sites (up to 50%).

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as Aerospace, Defense, Medical Devices or Automotive.
• Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as ICT, FCT, AOI, X-Ray and conformal coating.
