Original listing · kept for referenceCEO's Office | Zealot
This is not a traditional assistant role. You will work directly with Zealot's founder as their right hand, travelling internationally, helping the highest-priority work move, and getting a front-row apprenticeship in how an ambitious startup is built.
Zealot (zealotlabs.com) builds AI systems that find zero-days, emulate target devices, and develop working exploits for U.S. defense and intelligence customers. We are backed by tier-1 U.S. venture firms and industry leaders, with a team that includes alumni of Anthropic, xAI, NSA, USCYBERCOM and Anduril.
What you'll do
• Travel globally with the founder and make every trip, meeting, and transition run smoothly.
• Prepare briefs, research, notes, follow-ups, and plans for high-stakes meetings, investor conversations, customers, and events.
• Keep priorities, information, and people moving at founder speed.
• Take on fast-moving special projects across operations, recruiting, partnerships, product, and company building.
• Anticipate problems, use excellent judgment with sensitive information, and solve things without waiting to be asked.
Who you are
• An exceptional early-career operator who learns unusually fast and wants an intense, practical education in startups and leadership.
• Highly organized, resourceful, calm under pressure, and energized by changing priorities.
• An outstanding written and spoken communicator in English.
• Comfortable working independently, handling details impeccably, and thinking strategically.
• Able to work remotely from anywhere in the world and travel internationally, often on short notice.
• Excited by a high-ownership, high-trust role that is anything but predictable.
What you'll get
• A front-row seat to building an extraordinary company.
• Direct daily exposure to founder-level decisions, operations, strategy, and execution.
• International travel and a genuinely unconventional working life.
• Rapid growth across business, operations, leadership, and strategy.
We care far more about raw ability, ownership, judgment, and drive than pedigree. If you want the rarest kind of startup apprenticeship, we'd love to hear from you.
