Senior C# Engineer @ Eyeviation

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel

Type: Full Time / Hybrid

The Eyeviation Mission

Eyeviation is an AI-driven startup revolutionizing elite training through "Human-Aware" technology. We develop a proprietary cognitive analytics engine that uses VR technologies, biosensor data, and AI to create immersive tools that enhance human performance and decision-making. By decoding human behavior in real-time, we provide a transformative training experience for defense, law enforcement, and commercial markets. We are building the future of how humans master complex tasks, and we are looking for a brilliant Senior C# Engineer to architect the high-performance software and systems foundation that makes it possible.

About the Role

Eyeviation is seeking a Senior C# Engineer who thrives in the high-impact "zero-to-one" stage. This is a pivotal role for an expert who wants to shape the technical foundation of our platform from the ground up and play a crucial part in bridging low-level systems engineering with real-time immersive applications.

As our Senior C# Engineer, you will drive remote VR core business logic and orchestration, memory optimizations, and network communication. You will ensure our system handles massive streams of high-frequency sensor data, integrates cleanly with hardware, and scales into reliable, real-world deployments. Working closely with R&D and Product leadership, you will influence how our system integrates with high-fidelity sensors, pilot cutting-edge hardware integrations, and help shape the future of advanced firearms training.

Key Responsibilities

• Foundational Engineering: Move prototypes into production-ready solutions, ensuring high scalability, low latency, and rock-solid reliability across our software stack.

• Systems & Networking Architecture: Design and implement networking protocols and efficient inter-process communication mechanisms to handle real-time biosensor streams and simulation state synchronization.

• Hardware & Sensor Integration: Take a leading role in integrating next-generation VR headsets, controllers, and custom peripherals into our backend C# architecture.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in sync with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to pipeline biosensor data and AI feedback cleanly into our core engine.

• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee the development process from low-level design concepts to provable, shipped software in a production environment.

• Team Growth: Contribute to the technical evolution of the team by participating in technical interviews and helping evaluate engineering talent as we scale.

The Eyeviation Culture

We believe that brilliant minds achieve more when they work in sync. We are looking for a true team player who:

• Operates with a "we" before "me" mindset and is eager to share knowledge and lift others up.

• Thrives in a high-trust environment where open communication is the bedrock of success.

• Combines technical mastery with the humility to learn from others.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong preference for your last 2 roles to have been focused primarily on C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.

• C# Mastery: Strong hands-on engineering experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem, treating code quality, performance, and architecture with high rigor.

• Operating Systems Fundamentals: Deep understanding of OS-level concepts, specifically memory management, efficient storage I/O, and inter-process communication (IPC).

• Computer Networking: Solid proficiency in computer networking principles and real-time communication protocols (TCP/UDP, socket programming, high-frequency serialization/deserialization).

• Hands-on Grit: The ability to move from low-level architectural concepts to final, production-ready implementation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Unity3D: Experience developing with or architecting within the Unity engine.

• Math & Spatial Computing: Strong foundation in Linear Algebra, 3D math, or trajectory analysis.

• Androrid: Experience with Android OS and / or Android NDK development.

• Multi-Language Expertise: Familiarity with C++, Python, or JavaScript.

• XR & Hardware: Experience working with XR devices, eye-tracking, or high-fidelity biosensors.

• Mentorship: Experience or strong interest in mentoring other developers.
