Your impact
Jacobs is growing in Israel, and we're looking for an HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Kiryat Gat. You'll be involved in the design and delivery of complex HVAC solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on some of the most innovative projects in the region. Based on site in Kiryat Gat (5 days per week), you'll take ownership of engineering tasks, ensure technical quality, and support project delivery through design, commissioning, and startup phases, coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. You will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

Here's what you'll need
• Bachelor's degree in Building Services/Mechanical (HVAC) Engineering
• At least 5 years of practical application of mechanical engineering design in building systems, such as HVAC, Dry/Wet systems, and their construction.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels (CEFR level B2 English and Hebrew).
• General knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial facilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with a BIM environment, and knowledge of Navisworks software.
• Ability to work onsite in Kiryat Gat (office/site based – 5 days per week)
Ideally, you will also have
• History of excellent client and contractor interaction and support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
