This role owns the security posture management process from monitoring to security issue remediation. Additionally, the role combines leadership and hands-on execution to strengthen security posture, reduce control gaps, and embed security into the software development lifecycle. The Israel R&D Cyber Security Lead will build and maintain strong relationships with CSO teams and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with AT&T organizational compliance and security standards.
Requirements: Key Responsibilities • Lead the Israel R&D cybersecurity roadmap aligned with AT&T CISO/CSO vision and compliance requirements. • Own security posture governance, including daily ScoreCard oversight, root-cause investigation, remediation accountability trend analysis, • Act as the primary cybersecurity advisor for Israel R&D teams on secure design, SSDLC and specific security needs. • Work with Security Champions to identify, mentoring, and empowering champions within R&D teams to promote security best practices. • Establish strong working relationships with global CSO/CISO organizations to ensure alignment, escalation paths, and policy compliance. • Report posture, risks, and improvement progress to technical and executive stakeholders with clear, data-driven communication. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in software product development environments. • 5+ years in cybersecurity leadership roles (Cyber Security Lead / Information Security Manager / CISO-track) in complex global cloud organizations. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, Software Engineering, Networking, or equivalent (master’s preferred). • Proven experience leading security posture programs using scorecards/dashboards, control-gap analysis, and remediation tracking. • Demonstrated ability to perform root-cause analysis on security findings and drive cross-functional remediation to closure. • Experience designing or leading a Security Champions program in engineering organizations. • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulations, including PCI, SOX, CCPA, CPNI, and GDPR. • Deep understanding of SSDLC and secure engineering practices in modern cloud-native environments. • Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with CSO/CISO organizations and senior leadership. • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), including executive-level presentation and technical influence.
