MALAM- Missile and Space Systems Division is looking for a Reliability and System Safety Engineer
The role includes:
• Leading reliability and safety engineering tasks in complex projects.
• Writing master plans for reliability and safety, formulating and defining requirements in technical specifications, supporting design selection alternatives based on reliability – availability – maintainability and safety considerations.
• Performing reliability allocation, performing reliability prediction for electronic and mechanical components, performing system analyses for reliability, availability and safety, preparing detailed reports and participating in design reviews.
• Safety risk analysis for airborne systems and assessment of risk factors and risk mitigation (PHA, SHA).
• Failure mode analysis for reliability and safety using Fault Trees (FTA, FMECA), system reliability models (RBD), statistical methods in reliability assessment, international standards in reliability and safety topics.
• Electrical stress analysis in electronic design (derating concept), maintainability and testability analyses, failure analysis (FRACAS), simulation methods for reliability and availability prediction and assessment, spare parts availability forecasting based on reliability data, reliability test design, quantitative methods in quality testing.
What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• Master’s degree in Quality and Reliability Engineering – Advantage.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in reliability engineering and/or system safety – mandatory.
• Experience working on military systems – Advantage.
• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification from the American Society for Quality – Advantage.
