About the Role: We are looking for an experienced, high-caliber Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of Claroty’s payroll operations and core financial processes in Israel. In this pivotal role, you will not only manage the end-to-end payroll and bookkeeping lifecycle for our growing team in Israel, but also act as a strategic focal point—optimizing processes, ensuring flawless compliance, and partnering closely with internal teams. If you are a proactive finance professional who combines deep technical expertise in Israeli payroll and related taxes, being able to support communicating payroll changes globally and review the work of the local payroll providers with a big-picture mindset and great communication skills, we want to hear from you. Requirements: What you need to succeed in this role: • Experience: At least 3–5 years of proven experience as a Senior Payroll Controller, Bookkeeper, or Finance Manager, preferably in a fast-paced global tech company. • System Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with Hargal and Netsuite (Payroll & ERP modules) is a must. • Experience with Hilan- advantage • Experience with Papaya- advantage • Prioritization & Execution: Ability to prioritize critical monthly payroll deadlines, operational expense runs, and lifecycle procedures in a fast-paced environment. • Global payroll review: Experience in communicating with payroll managers outside of Israel (subsidiaries) and review their work • Expertise in Israeli Regulations: Deep comprehension and up-to-date knowledge of Israeli payroll rules, labor laws, tax legislation, and social security regulations. • Financial Acumen: Strong background in accounting principles with the ability to analyze complex financial data and run rigorous reconciliations. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English. • Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail, discrete, service-oriented, and capable of leading initiatives independently.
