A fast-growing deep-tech company is looking for a Algorithms Team Lead Computer Vision

to take ownership of advanced vision capabilities used in real-world, production-grade systems.

This is a hands-on senior role for an experienced engineer who enjoys building highly accurate computer vision systems and leading complex algorithmic work from research through deployment.

The Role

Design and develop advanced computer vision and AI-based algorithms

Lead end-to-end algorithmic solutions: research, development, deployment, and optimization

Work on object detection, segmentation, anomaly detection, classification, OCR, and measurement

Optimize accuracy, robustness, latency, and scalability in production environments

Build and maintain training and evaluation pipelines

Act as the technical authority for vision-related challenges

Mentor and guide other algorithm engineers

Collaborate closely with software, systems, and customer-facing teams

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Computer Vision and algorithm development

Proven experience designing and deploying AI-based visual inspection systems

Strong background in accuracy-driven environments (defect detection, measurement, alignment, classification)

Deep experience with AI and deep learning for vision (CNNs, Transformers, segmentation, detection)

Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow

Strong Python skills; C++ is a strong advantage

Solid foundation in classical image processing (geometry, calibration, filtering, morphology)

Experience taking algorithms from research into production systems

Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership

Nice to Have

Experience in industrial inspection domains (electronics, semiconductors, medical devices, manufacturing)

Hands-on exposure to cameras, optics, lighting, and hardware-related constraints

Experience with Edge AI, real-time systems, or MLOps

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
