The team manages next-generation robotic platforms combining mechanics, electronics, embedded software, connectivity, app integration, industrial design, user experience, and manufacturing readiness — while balancing aggressive timelines, cost targets, product quality, and user experience. We are looking for a strong Program Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to drive execution across multiple interfaces, and can create clarity, structure, and momentum in highly complex development programs. Role Description As a Program Manager, you will lead end-to-end multidisciplinary product development programs for new robotic products and strategic product improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for driving execution from product definition and feasibility phases through development, validation, industrialization, ramp-up, and launch readiness. The role requires close day-to-day work with cross-functional teams across the organization, including Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded, Software, Systems, Validation, Product, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and external development partners. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with excellent execution capabilities, ownership mindset, communication skills, and the ability to lead without direct authority. This role is highly cross-functional and execution-oriented, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on program leadership. Responsibilities • Lead multidisciplinary (HW, SW, Mech, IoT, App, Cloud and IT) product development programs from initiation to successful product launch. • Build and manage integrated program plans, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, risks, and execution tracking. • Drive alignment between Product, R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Marketing and Service organizations. • Lead cross-functional forums, management reviews, decision-making processes, and escalation activities. • Ensure program execution meets targets for schedule, quality, cost, performance, and user experience. • Manage complex technical and operational dependencies across hardware, firmware, software, mechanics, systems, and manufacturing activities. • Drive design maturity and product readiness throughout development phases including PDR, CDR, Alpha, Beta, and Mass Production readiness. • Lead risk management activities and proactively identify mitigation plans to remove blockers and execution gaps. • Coordinate activities with subcontractors, external development partners, and global suppliers. • Support operational and NPI readiness activities including tooling, manufacturing ramp-up, supply chain readiness, validation status, and production risk reduction. • Monitor program KPIs and communicate clear status updates to stakeholders and senior management. • Drive continuous improvement processes across development and program management methodologies. • Balance execution speed with engineering quality and long-term product reliability.
Requirements: • B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or similar). MBA - advantage. • 2+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary product development programs. • Proven experience leading complex hardware-based product development projects from concept to production. • Strong technical understanding in multidisciplinary systems involving mechanics, electronics, embedded software, manufacturing, and integration. • Experience working closely with R&D organizations and managing execution across multiple engineering disciplines. • Proven experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and external development partners. • Strong understanding of NPI, manufacturing, operations, and product lifecycle processes. • Excellent project planning, risk management, prioritization, and execution capabilities. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority. • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hebrew. • High ownership, accountability, and ability to drive tasks to closure in dynamic environments. • Experience in consumer products, robotics, electromechanical systems, or IoT products - strong advantage. Please note that the position is based in Kibbutz Yizrael and follows a hybrid work model, with one work-from-home day per week.
