Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated PLC & Control Engineer to join our multidisciplinary R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing control and automation solutions for next-generation thermal management systems. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and integration engineers to define control strategies, program PLCs, integrate system components, and support the development of innovative cooling technologies for data centers.

Responsibilities

• Define control and automation requirements for systems under development.

• Design, develop, and implement PLC-based control solutions.

• Program PLCs using IEC 61131-3 standard programming languages, including Structured Text (ST) and Ladder Diagram (LD).

• Select, configure, and validate controllers, sensors, actuators, and related electronic components.

• Integrate control systems with mechanical and electrical subsystems.

• Develop communication interfaces using Modbus TCP/RTU and other industrial communication protocols.

• Create and maintain system control logic, command definitions, and engineering specifications.

• Support system testing, debugging, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

• Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Electrical, Mechanical, and Integration Engineering.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in control systems engineering and PLC programming.

• Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols, particularly Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU.

• Strong proficiency in PLC programming using IEC 61131-3 programming languages (Structured Text, Ladder Logic, etc.).

• Strong understanding of control systems and automation principles.

• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, industrial controllers, and system integration.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional-level English, both written and verbal.

Advantage

• Experience developing control systems for thermal management, cooling, HVAC, fluid handling, or industrial process systems.

• Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

• Experience with product development and multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• Familiarity with data center infrastructure or cooling technologies.
