We are looking for a Head of Electronic Design Department – Space to join the Engineering & Systems Plant within IAI’s Missile & Space Division.
The position includes:
• Leading an engineering department focused on the design and development of next-generation electronic systems for satellite platforms
• Managing and developing the department’s engineering team, fostering professional growth and ensuring achievement of business and technical objectives
• Overall responsibility for project schedules, budgets and deliverables, including work plan management, status reviews and reporting to senior management
• Leading and coordinating subcontractors and cross-functional support organizations to ensure project execution and milestone achievement
• Defining and driving the department’s strategic roadmap, including core technologies, innovation initiatives and future technology building blocks
• Managing interfaces with program management, business units and multidisciplinary engineering organizations across the division
Requirements:
• Israeli citizenship
• B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Physics
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the development of electronic systems
• At least 3 years of direct managerial experience leading engineering development teams
• High level of English (reading, writing and speaking)
Additional criteria (advantage):
• M.Sc. degree in Engineering or MBA
• Previous experience in the space industry
• Knowledge and experience in military power systems and/or analog electronic systems
