Data Scientist | Client Site | Be'er Sheva

Cambium is looking for a Data Scientist with strong technical capabilities and leadership potential to join an innovative project at our client's site in Be'er Sheva.

In this role, you will tackle complex data challenges, build advanced machine learning solutions, and take an active role in guiding project execution and leading technical initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Lead data science tasks end-to-end and promote best practices in ML development and deployment.

Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for real-world challenges.

Build and optimize data processing and feature engineering pipelines for large-scale structured and unstructured data.

Partner closely with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with project goals.

Translate analytical insights and predictive results into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist with a proven track record in model development.

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software/Information Systems Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong leadership potential, project ownership capabilities, or experience guiding technical tasks.

Strong proficiency in Python and its data science stack, including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn.

Solid foundation in statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, EDA, and predictive modeling.

Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.

Excellent analytical skills and strong communication abilities.

Nice to Have:

M.Sc. in a quantitative or engineering field.

Experience with Big Data tools such as PySpark, Databricks, or distributed platforms.

Hands-on experience with Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP, or LLMs.

Background working with complex or domain-specific datasets.
