The role involves reviewing complex tax returns and positions for leading Israeli companies, identifying material tax exposures, reporting gaps and high-risk positions, and assessing local and international tax implications.
The Manager will provide practical professional guidance to Tax and Audit teams, work closely with Partners, Directors and senior managers, contribute to technical training and knowledge development, and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth quality reviews of complex tax returns and tax positions.
• Identify material tax exposures, reporting gaps, high-risk positions and tax-planning opportunities.
• Analyze complex corporate and international tax matters, including tax aspects of financial reporting.
• Provide clear, practical and well-supported guidance to Tax and Audit teams.
• Contribute to professional training, workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Manage multiple assignments and stakeholder relationships while meeting tight deadlines.
• Mentor and support team members’ professional development.
Requirements:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification – mandatory.
• 5–7 years of experience in taxation, gained at a Big Four firm or the Israel Tax Authority - mandatory
• Broad and in-depth knowledge of corporate tax, international tax, Israeli tax incentive legislation and tax aspects of financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage professional relationships with Partners, Directors and senior managers in the Audit practice.
• Previous experience managing employees and/or leading professional teams.
• Ability to independently learn, analyze and address complex professional matters.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of service orientation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across the firm.
