We are looking for a Mechanical Lead to join the Kokhav Hayarden Hydro Power Plant located in Israel (near Neve Or).As the Plant's Mechanical Lead you shall be responsible for leading a team and managing the full Mechanical scope, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, supporting planned activities and outages, as well as the implementation of tools and systems, all in accordance with contractual requirements, GE processes, EHS instructions and Country regulations.

Job Description
• Managing and training a team of Mechanical technicians and Subcontractors.
• Providing continue maintenance support to the mechanical scope at the Power Plant.
• Planning and executing ongoing maintenance activities, in coordination with the Operations team.
• Building and implementing work procedures.
• Monitoring spare parts inventory, drawings, and professional literature.
• Ensuring that all works on site are performed in accordance with the contract, the station's technical specifications and local regulations, and in adherence to high EHS and quality standards.
Qualifications
• Mechanical Engineering / Practical Engineer.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience working as part of a maintenance team at a power plant or large industrial facility.
• Experience working with heavy mechanical equipment, high pressure pumps, generators, and BOP systems (rotating equipment).
• Previous experience working in an international company - an advantage.
• Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent personal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and be available on weekends and holidays in case of emergency malfunctions.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English
