Located in the Sharon / Herzliya area (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.
Role Description-
• Joining a skilled 5-person Embedded Software team, reporting directly to the Embedded Team Lead.
• Owning the end-to-end development of Real-Time Embedded Systems and Firmware for Radar and Sensor-based products, from architecture design to Production.
• Writing high-performance, low-level C++ code on ARM platforms, developing drivers, peripherals, and board-level communication protocols.
• Collaborating closely with the Algorithmics squad to integrate and optimize Deep Learning / Computer Vision algorithms onto resource-constrained Edge devices.
• Operating within real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS) and Linux environments, solving memory-sensitive and latency-critical engineering challenges.
Requirements-
• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline – Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded Software development using C and C++ – Mandatory
• Deep experience with ARM architecture, system peripherals (SPI, UART, I2C), and low-level hardware communication protocols – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience developing embedded software in Real-Time environments (RTOS / FreeRTOS) – Mandatory
• Hands-on development experience in Linux environments – Mandatory
• Experience with memory-constrained and high-performance system programming – Mandatory
• Knowledge of networking and low-level communication protocols – Mandatory
• Proactive, self-managed approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills – Mandatory
• Background in Radar, LiDAR, Signal Processing, or Sensor Fusion systems – Advantage
