Manufacturing Engineer

A leading company serving the aerospace and defense industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its engineering team.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys being close to the production floor, solving real-world manufacturing challenges, and taking ownership of projects from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop tooling, molds, fixtures, and assembly aids.

• Prepare manufacturing documentation, routing sheets, work instructions, and engineering packages.

• Provide ongoing engineering support to production and resolve manufacturing issues.

• Lead projects from engineering definition through production implementation.

• Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare technical quotations and manufacturing assessments.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure smooth execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – advantage.

• At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.

• Experience in tooling and fixture design – required.

• Experience with SolidWorks and/or Siemens NX – required.

• Experience preparing manufacturing documentation and routing sheets – required.

• Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.

• Experience working in a production environment.

• Experience in composite materials manufacturing – advantage.

• Experience in aerospace and defense industries – advantage.
